Youtube für Audio Sharing

Ich hatte vor ein paar Tagen die geniale Idee ein Youtube nur für Audio Files zu starten. Dabei war mir schon klar, dass es sowas bereits gibt. Etwas Recherche hat dann auch diese Kandidaten hier ans Tageslicht gebracht:

Vudyo.com

Houndbite.com

Twango.com - eher so nebenbei

Wofür das ganze? Audiofiles sind bei weiten einfacher zu produzieren als Videos. Das zeigt schon der Vergleich der regelmößig erscheinenden Podcast vs. Videocasts. Sicherlich sind Audiofiles unkomplizierter zu hosten als Videofiles und fressen auch nicht soviel Bandbreite. Aber Youtube lebt von anderen Faktoren, wie z.B. der sozialen Vernetzung, der Rechweite um dem Embedding der Files in jeder Website. Ausserdem bietet ein Audio Sharing Network viel einfachere Werbemöglichkeiten, indem man einfach Ads einblendet solange der Besucher ein Soundfile hört.

Ausserdem zerhaut mir das mein Layout. Absolutes No-Go für einbetten.

I dont know if you got my last post. I am the owner of Vudyo and was looking through my referrer information and came across your site and was wondering what type of site this is?

I believe this site is in German and I obviously don”t speak it. Hopefully you speak English.

hello fatima.
i just got this post from you.
this site is about ecommerce, but sometimes i just post about interesting or funny stuff.
as you can see you embedded payer kills my layout.
do you have any clue why?
i also said that it looks like a video player that could be nicer designed (like the houndbite for example).
but i still like your page and the idea behind it.

I don’t know why to be honest with you. I am in the process of completely redesigning all elements of the site, flash player included. There have been a couple issues in my initial design because my knowledge of coding was basic when I started. I now have a better understanding and will implement this into my 2nd version. I’m thinking the site will be completed within the month and all issues hopefully will be solved. I will none-the-less check into it from my end and let you know if I can determine the issue.
